Bike the Crawl
Independent Bookstore Day - Saturday, April 25
Hop on your bike for a self-guided adventure to 10-15 amazing independent bookstores across the city. The Route kicks off at Sandmeyer's Bookstore (714 S Dearborn St), where Broadway Bikes will be on hand to pump up your tires, share safety tips, and send you off with coffee and treats.

10-stop ride: Sandmeyer’s Bookstore, Exile in Bookville, After-Words, Open Books West Loop, Madison Street Books, Passages Wine and Books, Perpetual Book, Quimby’s, City Lit Books, Skunk Cabbage Books

15-stop ride: +Bucket O’ Blood, Uncharted Books, Roscoe Books, The Last Chapter, Three Avenues
Or you can create your own route with the 80+ participating bookstores.

If you’re ready for a day full of running and bookstores, look no further! Read & Run Chicago is an organization that supports libraries, indie bookstores, and other small businesses through their programming. This year, Read & Run Chicago team members are leading five different simultaneously happening guided runs between some of the city’s most beloved indie bookstores.
